Started P1 today. I've done this diet before 2 years ago but gave up when the forum board went down. So now I'm back hoping I can do it this time and take off this stubborn fat and get healthy again.

My starting weight it 283.6 lbs. I will measure myself tomorrow morning. Got off to a rocky start as I just went grocery shopping today for the diet and didn't have anything prepared to start today.

Todays meals:

Breakfast
1 cup herbal tea
1 banana

Noon
1 cup skim milk
1 cup cherries
1/2 pint cherry tomatoes

Snack
1 cup watermelon

Dinner
1/2 cup brown rice
1/2 cup asparagus spears
1 cup green bean salad w/2 tbs dressing

Todays water
still working on it; 20 oz so far

Didn't exercise today. Will get out and do some walking tomorrow.

Yesterday I ate dinner too early (4:00pm) so I ended up having another meal. I did get off to a rough start by not eating properly in the morning then ending up hungry towards the end of the day. Here's the rest of yesterdays meals:

Meal:
1 cup veggie chili
1 cup skim milk

Snack:
bowl of watermelon and cherries

Today I vow to do this properly; eat meals as scheduled and start an exercise program. Since I didn't measure myself yesterday I did that this morning along with re-weighing myself so I would have the right starting figures.

June 2, 2010

weight: 281.8 lbs
full bust: 51 1/2"
under bust: 44"
waist: 48"
hips: 56"
thigh: 30"

I've got a long way to go. I miss finding a bra that fits properly and absolutely hate my muffin top waist.

A little background on me. I'm been out of work since last June. Another victim of the recession. Its been super depressing trying to find work and worrying about my bills. I find that these 2 factors play a huge role in my inability to lose weight. Most mornings I just didn't want to get out of bed and my only comfort was food.

This year I am still out of work but turned my life around just recently. I have had a small crafting biz since 2006 making handcrafted candles and soap. Since I have been unable to get work on my own I decided to start wholesaling my candles and soap. I put together a wholesale packet, brochures, price list, biz intro letter, etc. and started going out canvassaing the valley looking for retail accounts.

Its changed my depression significantly and now I can't wait to get up in the mornings and start work. I have several accounts already and some more prospects. One of which is an approval to start selling at a 7-Eleven store. I will be in to see the owner on Friday to bring in her candle order and to talk to her about other stores in the area she wants me to sell at. This approval to 7-Eleven stores has the potential to be huge but I have to see how the candles will sell. I've learned to not put all my eggs into one basket and will continue to canvas the area for more accounts. I have another appt tomorrow so that makes 2 this week. I also have a large order for July 4th and a national park with several gift shops has already expressed interest in selling both my candles and soap. So I am on my way but still have a long way to go to survive off my sales.
