Beefy tomato pasta E-mail
1 lb. ground sirloin
2 (14-1/2 oz) cans stewed tomatoes
1 medium onion, minced
1 t. salt
1 t. chili powder
1/4 to 1/2 t. pepper
1/4 t. sugar
1 c. uncooked whole wheat elbow macaroni

In a skillet, brown the beef; drain and rinse. Add tomatoes and seasonings; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in macaroni; cover and simmer 15 minutes. Uncover; simmer until macaroni is tender and sauce is thickened.
